As someone with ADHD, in a hyper-distracted and animated state, her installations reflect this discombobulated experience if the mind.
Her aim is to create an overwhelming yet joyful experience that invites viewers to take a deep dive into their own minds, hoping to inspire and spark joy through interactive elements in the works, making them not only visually stimulating but also emotionally captivating.

Jill Paynte is a visual artist who works prolifically with in the fields of painting, print making, textiles, sculpture and installation. Since graduating from Curtin University in 2015 with a BA in Fine Arts, she has worked on a multitude of arts projects and collaborations, with particular focus on community engagement in regional areas of Western Australia. Having exhibited with the inaugural Strange Festival in 2022, Paynter has also
shown work in various art awards and mixed group exhibitions nationally.
