Grin & Bare It

Grin & Bare It

Hey, handsome. Welcome to our private collection.
Stripper artists Two Hot Heathens create the haunted gallery of their client’s wettest nightmares. Coveted, pedestalled and put on the wall, Grin & Bare It plays with the paradoxical fantasy of possessing a person whose freedom is exactly what makes them so magnetic. A gooey, gory satire on client-provider relationships, THH reimagine the curated, performative bodies that customers so desperately desire into strange, grotesque forms – and laugh at the horror and humour of dealing with a customer base who are unaware that they hate you as much as they want you.

Two Hot Heathens

Two Hot Heathens, an electrifying artistic duo, seamlessly blend performance and visual art, alongside stripping, to ignite conversations on sexual politics and identity. With diverse talents encompassing video, photography, theater, and AV design, they craft immersive experiences concerned with contemporary ideas surrounding desire, power and shame. Their combined catalog of works blurs the lines between cabaret, performance art, autobiography, and visual storytelling to explore complex themes with empathy. THH interrogate the duality of the body as a site of liberation and self-discovery, production and projection; prompting audiences to reconsider their perceptions of eroticism and autonomy. Together, they redefine the intersection of art and striptease, advocating for fearless self-expression and fostering profound connections.

For their latest work Grin & Bare It, THH join forces with the formidable Sakidasumi, a Boorloo-based Singaporean-Indonesian artist whose background in music, performance and ballroom culture amalgamate into the genre-defying style she is best known for.
